Well as mistress of procrastination, I have developed over a thousand ways, but mainly livejournal and the internet. And if that fails, just sort of lying there doing nothing.

Are there any bits of childhood that you miss?
The fact that I didn't have to do any work (well, barely any), I didn't have to worry about exams, my future, boys, my looks, and when I tried to find Narnia or the Secret Garden and played imaginary games, it was cute. Now its just weird. The only time I will ever get to be this carefree again is when I am an old biddy. Roll on old age!

Summer, because its so stress-free and I love the sun. Switzerland in summer is beautiful, we always go to lakes and things. I do like winter but I'm just so bogged down with work at that time.

I got a haircut!
I wanted to lop all of my hair off, so this morning I went to the hairdressers and had it cut really short. It turned out looking a bit Scully-ish, particularly because the red in my hair hasn't quite faded yet, but that wasn't my intention. No, seriously, it wasn't. It could be Emma's hair too, only not orange. IDK.
I just felt like it was dragging me down.

Also, because I have the beautiful Little Dorrit boxset and its just so pretty, I wanted to make some screencaps of it, but my computer won't let me cap the dvd. It says 'you must quit before you grab images' or something like that. Well, how can I cap images after quitting the dvd, it makes no sense computer, you are silly. And then I found the most perfect song ever for a Bones video, and I still don't know how despite reading many tutorials. So I'm really grumpy because I can never do any decent graphic/fancy things on my computer like everyone else, why??

Also I wanted to steal the idea offfiery_twilight of making a video where I answer your questions. Ask me anything, fandom or real life related, but nothing inappropriate. For example, 'On which part of David Duchovny's anatomy would you like to put your tongue?' would not be suitable (for the answer to that question, you'll have to use your imagination). And... GO!

p.s. Speaking of period dramas, I can't wait to start watching Bleak House! I am not very far in the book though, especially since I'm reading about five other things at the same time. I love it though, and I used to be prejudiced against Dickens because I hate Oliver Twist. I TAKE IT BACK CHARLIE, I TAKE IT BACK! For some reason I really want Esther, Ada and Richard to be some kind of awesome Harry Potter/Buffy trio. Can someone tell me what the actual plot is though? It doesn't really have a proper blurb. I'm at the bit where they are scoobying (lol I am trying to make the Buffy thing happen) in that creepy rag and bone shop with crazy lady. What... well is the main character supposed to be Esther? Because she says she is narrating it but only for a bit or something. But then on some editions it has Lady Dedlock on the front, very prominent, suggesting she is the main character. CONFUSION.
I wish I had that edition, then I could just look at Gily's face all day, sadly I have a really creepy edition that I bought for 50p or something in a charity shop. LOL THIS IS THE FIFTH TIME I'VE EDITED THIS POST.

Ugh, but today New Moon comes out in England, everyone I know is going to see it but not me. My group of friends is meeting up with their friend Bella (who they know from nursery school) because she is going through a tough time at her school and doesn't have many friends, but I don't know her so it would be really awkward if I tagged along. And I don't really want to see it on my own. Its not that bad because I can just watch it online and I don't even like Twilight (I'm superficial and just want to see it for Taylor's abs), its more the fact that I just feel really left out, depressed and moody even though I completely understand about Bella. Obviously they are being lovely and I feel selfish for complaining, but IDK I just... its friday and I had to do P.E. in the rain so I'm tired and stressed.

I just got back from seeing 2012 and you know what? It really wasn't that bad. It was appropriately cheesy in all the right places, and the special effects were goddamn AMAZING. I was actually quite frightened in some places. I won't spoil it for you but if you liked The Day After Tomorrow, you should definitely go see this because its much better. And the cast of characters aren't really what you'd expect (even though you can completely predict who's going to die and who's going to live). And yeah that woman from IWTB was in it.
Hehe and they showed the New Moon trailer and I yelled "OMG IT'S DAKOTA FANNING" because I had forgotten that she is in the film, and she was wearing black lipstick and looked all grown up and goth. And also a trailer for a really shit looking film with Angelina Jolie in it called Salt and she's all "omg you guyz i'm not a russian spy!" but they don't believe her so she dyes her hair black. Yeah, don't see that film.


BUT. My dad pisses me off so much right now, want to know why? I forgot to put enough money on my oyster card and couldn't get the tube home so he had to come and collect me in the car, and he was all yelling. And I know I'm (really) forgetful, but he thinks I'm so incompetent and even though I have been thinking carefully for weeks about my A Level options he says I am not taking control of my life and is acting like a whiny...a whiny.... AGH.
And to top it all off (IDK if I've blogged about this before) my sister is a total pain. She has some kind of social difficulties and basically acts about nine (despite being 13) and throws tantrums in public and stuff. So she's been really awkward and annoying lately, the whole family revolves around her and the fact that she can't make friends at school apart from this one girl who is a year younger than her.
SO. Thought I would contribute this emo rant to the world because honestly I only ever blog about happy stuff and I feel its time for me to uncork the bottle of teenage angst within me. SO THERE.

I made an icon. I realise it sucks because I don't have photoshop (when I tried to download it, it didn't work) but I'm asking for it for christmas. I wanted to add, "gillian has a koala: your argument is irrelevant" but iPhoto (yeah iPhoto, cool or what?) wouldn't let me add text.

Now for the main purpose of this post: christmas cards! If you want me to send one to you then add your address, I will screen the comments (this is where I make a face something like :S because I don't know how. I'll work it out, though, you guys). I'm only getting xmas cards from my closest LJ friends because you know that I am very paranoid about pedophiles (well, my parents are). Glee was my favourite episode yet! Sue melts my heart. I like how they addressed many issues in this episode and explored some of the more minor characters in more detail - like Artie and Sue.

Well. My Religious Studies teacher ( I shall refer to her as Miss B.) is officially the most crazy cool person I have ever met. I think I've talked about her before but there was so much ridiculous awesome that she did today.
( I think if she wasn't my teacher we could be best friends. I don't understand why everyone hates her. )

I found this video on YouTube and I think its really funny, mostly because it reminds me of when I was in year six and I thought the llama song was the best thing ever. I watched it about three times a day. But I didn't really get it, I was like "the lyrics don't make sense." I didn't understand that was the point. 

The video is a bit fast but whatever. There's also a video set to the song 'Spooky' from Lazytown, how cool is that? Its not actually a video though, just a slideshow but it features some great Scully facial expressions. IDK, look it up I can't be bothered to embed another video. 

And Sam you keep going on about Scully having an orgasm. WHAT EPISODE IS THIS. I NEED TO KNOW.

Yesterday was Halloween! And I forgot to post! Oh well.

I feel sick because I ate loads of sweets, and I also made Macaroons. I've had about ten, they're delicious even if I do say so myself. I watched Shrek 3, it was on tv, and also Merlin - funniest shizzle ever. When Uther was kissing that troll woman I couldn't stop laughing: I wonder how many times they had to do that take? If I were him I would have been cracking up so hard. And at the end, when Merlin was like "I thought you were going in for a hug," and Arthur was just staring at him like 'wtf? Get the fuck away from me.' 
I also saved the Gossip Girl halloween episode for yesterday and I now really want an icon of Nate going "It's an orgasm." Because it was one of the best things he's ever said. 

Oh and I don't watch Smallville but I randomly watched loads of clips on youtube and then the latest episode on surfthechannel, and Lois and Clark is the most adorable squishy thing ever. Can you have an OTP of a show you don't watch? IDEK

Basically, for Halloween we decided to rent a horror film, so we go into the video store and ask the man at the counter to recommend a film to us. So he recommends one, but says it is only for ~hardcore people, and its really scary. Obviously we rent it. And we start watching it, when suddenly I am IN the film, as one of the characters. I am sitting round a campfire with some other teenagers, smoking and shit, and suddenly this girl says, "Look what I have". And she holds up this penis. It is really small and shriveled. And then this boy (he is called Harry, don't know how I know this) says "Let's eat it." And everyone has to take a bite, and I don't want to, but ~peer pressure, so I take a bite and it tastes like chicken. And I woke up in a cold sweat thinking a) I'm a cannibal and b) I just ate a motherfucking dick. I can still taste it in my mouth. NICE.

Hi, just an update to let you know that I may be sluggish in terms of updates/commenting over the next few days because my dear cousins are here and I won't be going on the computer a lot. They broke up for half term a week early so while I am still in school they are out having fun. They came to have a nice week in London, currently they are at the Tower of London. They were going to stay in a hotel but are using our house instead lol. I may go on LJ sometimes after school if they are still out like now, but mostly I will be with them.

Also, I have been working on an immense doodle, with a Halloween theme. It took me the whole of double history and several periods of maths, and when it is complete I will take a picture because it really belongs in an art gallery. My friend contributed, she drew Jack Nicolson, Samara from The Ring and Freddy Krueger. Except Jack Nicolson is blonde because she tried to ink erase it and it went yellow.

What else can I tell you? Oh yes, I am thinking of making a picspam but am unsure what I should do it on. It will be a bit crack-induced, just so you know.
